This years Fourth of July will be a little different than our usual celebrations of our country's Independence Day. Although the city of Santa Clara has cancelled our annual All-City Picnic & Fireworks Extravaganza, <\/em>we would like to remind you of the different ways to celebrate 4th of July in the comfort of your own home!<\/p>\n

Instead of the traditional “in person” July 4th event, transform you day into a memory that will last for years. Be creative, and have fun with members of your family! <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n
• Set up a video party<\/li>\n
• Camp in your backyard<\/li>\n
• Compete in lawn games (e.g. cornhole, horseshoes, croquet, etc.)<\/li>\n
• Relax by your backyard pool, or have a water balloon fight<\/li>\n
• Make homemade ice cream<\/li>\n
• Create an outdoor theater to watch a movie, concert or fireworks show on TV<\/li>\n
• Entertain one another with a family talent show; extended family can participate via video conference<\/li>\n
• Fly a kite<\/li>\n
