]]>A place where you can see what your neighbors are saying or doing! This month of September we hosted our first ever Virtual Zumba Class. YES! VIRTUAL! Faye our Zumba instructor did an excellent job connecting with our residents by dancing the evening away to different genres of music. See below for what your fellow Station 101 Residents had to say!
"Thank you! Yes it was a wonderful activity which made to feel better and awesome work done by the management. We would like to have some activities which give us a good relaxation and keep active."
"HI, I really appreciate your effort to provide at home workout facility during these tough times. I really enjoyed and really it came as surprise when I was specially trying out different online Zumba classes.
Only thing on improvement side is the timing, timing was little odd. I personally would prefer either evening around 5 or morning. Thanks a lot once again. Looking forward to some more session in near future"
"It was really good and I would appreciate if you continue this going forward"
"Good Morning! Hope you are doing well. I really enjoyed the Zumba class.Trainer was great. It was a nice experience and I would love to attend more classes in future.I really appreciate the Station 101 management for putting in so much effort and for providing us such classes to keep us active during this pandemic situation as well. Great job !! Only concern for me was the time(12pm-1pm), it kind of collided with lunch time. Appreciate if it's before 11am or after 3pm."
"It was a really fun exercise and experience I loved it. The instructor was really awesome and had plenty of dance moves. I loved how she was so diverse with her music choice."

]]>The post Wear Your Mask. It’s The Law. appeared first on Station 101 Blog.
]]>This is a reminder that EVERYONE OVER THE AGE OF 2 MUST WEAR MASKS* at all times outside of their homes in not just Santa Clara, but in all of California. Wearing a mask is California law and for many it could mean life or death.
At any point where you are outside of your apartment home, you must be wearing a mask to protect yourself, but also to protect the lives of others.
Examples of when you must be wearing a mask:
- Walking in the hallways and garage (this includes children over the age of 2)
- While doing laundry
- Entering and exiting the building
- Using the elevators
- Visiting the leasing office
- Interacting with any members not of your immediate household
Please keep in mind this is for everyone’s safety. We are seeing an increase in COVID-19 cases and we all must do our best to make sure we keep each other safe here at home.
For the full California State Ordinance please visit: https://www.cdph.ca.gov/Programs/CID/DCDC/CDPH%20Document%20Library/COVID-19/Guidance-for-Face-Coverings_06-18-2020.pdf
Take care and be well,
Station 101 Management
* Those who are exempt from wearing masks:
- Persons younger than two years old. These very young children must not wear a face covering because of the risk of suffocation.
- Persons with a medical condition, mental health condition, or disability that prevents wearing a face covering.
- Persons who are hearing impaired, or communicating with a person who is hearing impaired, where the ability to see the mouth is essential for communication.
- Persons who are engaged in outdoor work or recreation such as swimming, walking, hiking, bicycling, or running, when alone or with household members, and when they are able to maintain a distance of at least six feet from others.

]]>Bounded by Mountain View and East Palo Alto, the 1,940-acre Baylands Preserve is one of the largest tracts of undisturbed marshland remaining in the San Francisco Bay. Fifteen miles of multi-use trails provide access to a unique mixture of tidal and fresh water habitats.
Many consider this area to be one of the best bird watching areas on the west coast. The preserve has a substantial resident population of birds as well as being a major migratory stopover on the Pacific Flyway.

]]>We would also like to take this opportunity to shine light on the many special women of our own here at S-101 Management Co. We have the distinct pleasure of working in partnership with a group of strong, compassionate, resilient and intelligent women – and men, but with all due respect to their awesomeness, this is a day dedicated to women! From the very top of our company, we are led by the enduring strength, courage and kindness of our female leaders who spend their days supporting and uplifting the many women of our organization. On a day when we celebrate women supporting women, we take our hats off to a company who is the embodiment of that sentiment.
